Chronic joint pain. Peri or booster related?

I had the booster vaccine back in late January. I have always been one to exercise. I did have a break and gained a bit of weight. I have been back at the gym for about a month now. My joints are achey and sore all of the time. I haven't had this before. I ran into a friend who asked me if I have had the booster shot yet, which I told her I had. She mentioned since she has had it that her joints are really sore. Admittedly she does have arthritis but she said its been so much worse since the booster. I'm wondering if any of you ladies have had really bad joint pain with aches in general. I'm 49, 50 in November and have had peri symptoms for many years but this is new? Any help or info or similar experiences would be helpful

I had severe joint pain after the booster (I've had all three doses and it happened after each one) but it went away after a couple of days. For 7 years, since this lovely perimenopause journey started for me, I periodically get the joint pain. It's mostly pain behind my knees and in my elbows. I keep a journal based on the days of my cycle and I notice I get the same pain a few days each month right before my period. According to my naturopathic doctor, this is due to declining estrogen levels. Hope you feel better soon!

That is a good idea. I will have to start keeping a journal, thank you. I do notice when I am due for my period I am exhausted, I feel very fatigued. I had an ablation 2 years ago but I have started spotting when my period is due. This perimenopause can be debilitating at times. Thank you for taking the time to reply. Take care x
