    I had issues like that.

chronic pancreatitis ussually happens after deveral cases of acute pancreatitis.

symptoms will linger for months and depending on what you eat youll feel discomfort.

Just try not to worry about it, try eating low fat food and take antixidants, try no to drink even if you start feeling better.

uts been 6 months since my attack and il barley starting to feel normal, I tried eating bad and noticed discomfort will comeback, so ill gp back to eating healthy,, now im eating pizza and greasy food and hardly feel any discomfort.

I was so stressed out when it was happening to me, and I tought i was getting chronic pancreatitis, I also noticed the more i worried, the more i felt ill.

It right, take vitamins and antioxidants, and you will slowly get better again, trust me.

    happy healing.

It might be gallbladder issues that caused your initial acute pancreatitis.

hopefully everything resolves itself quick, please keep me updated with your condition.

Gallblader / Spleen / Billary tree looks normal in all previous scans. [ EUS / MRI / CT ]. Mild Fatty Liver is something they said other than my pancreas. But my liver enzyme tests are all normal.

My lipase elevated again, this time it is 900 :-(. Now they wanted to do contrast MRI. Not on any medications still. Mild persistent Backpain .

Now my GI says EUS is not always good method to diagnose pancreatic problems.

Past three months have been very stressfull, given my age and lifestyle not sure why I have pancreatetis or pancreas related problems. All that I think of is social drinking that too twice / thrice a month :-(

Sorry to hear about your problem.

Remember that i said i was doing good?

well 2 days ago I ate a whole medium pizza by myself in one sitting and started getting stomach pain the whole night, so I been fasting just in case is pancreatitis again, ill fast for like a week, today pain is less but still feel a little tenderness and a bit bloated.

I also had all the tests come back neagative 6 months ago when I had my first attack, I also was more paranoid cause I had what seemed like fat in my stools (stateoreah) when I had my first, it lasted about 4 months and than started having some what normal stools.

I was celebrating a bit to soon and now find myself in the same boat as you.

But lets try to be positive, because sometimes being scared or over thinking can make situation worse.

Ill try same diet, some fasting and hopefully will get back well again soon, I hope you get piece of mind soon and suggest you eat healthy too.

Try asking your doc about sphincer of oddy disfuntion, that can cause pain and pancerase issues as well.

God bless and keep me updated

Thanks a lot Henry, for all the moral support.

Today, I had one more MRI with contrast  nad now they are 90% sure that I have Auto Immue pancreatetis.

Good thing, they did not find any Mass this time. But all my other abdominal parts seems to be normal.

I did get Lung Xray too [ Had Persistent cough ] and its all normal. May be anxiety and stress was reason for cough.

All they said is there is peripancreatic inflamation and mild dilation of  pancreatic duct in body and tail.

They are planning to start oral steriods for me for short term and see how things change.

I still have mild abd  + back pain. [ On pain scale, i would say 3 out of 10 ]. But I am still able to do all day to day work without any hassle.

And about Diet and lifestyle, Doctors just told me to say away from alcohol + Fat foods which I already did .

Hopefully this eases your mind and hope the steroids help, also try taking chelated magnesium for the rest of your life so you will never get calcification in your pancreas.

Keep us updated about your progress and I hope you make a full recovery.
