Chronic pancreatitis

Does anyone know of anything that will help drain the fluid from the body? I am on several different pills (dilauded and hydro morphone for pain and several others just to be able to live) I have been drained from a tube in my back 3 times and it is very painful (obviously not as painful as the disease itself) and have been hospitalized many, many times. I see another hospital stay coming up very soon and I am trying to avoid going again but it seems like my only option. Any suggestions??

Crystal I'm not a doctor nor do I believe that random strangers should advise you about something so dangerous.  Even if I was a doctor it would be irresponsible to give the advice you seek without having a comprehensive understanding of your history and current circumstance.

Even altering one's diuretic a little can alter electolytes enough to cause serious problems.  It needs to be done under medical supervision.  Sorry.

Start on a high super high antioxidant intake, studies show that it reverses pancreatitis and heals the pancreas.

Doctors are tought to heal with drugs that sometimes just mask the disease but not cure the disease itself, its all about money.

I know you could reverse it, if you are really tired of suffering try it, by a juicer do alot of high antioxidant fruits a vegetables and nurse your way back to health, dont know one tell you otherwise.

Take enzymes with meals if you havent started yet and buy grapeseed extract pills.

    God bless

Thanks Henry, I have been taking Creon for my pancreas along with many many other pills, I was diagnosed in March 2014. You are right about masking the pain. I have pain killers that help with the pain and mask the attacks a bit but I would love to not have to take any pills at all, however I don't see that happening in my near future. I see a hospital stay again soon, I'm full of fluid AGAIN! It is definitely an on going struggle for all of us suffering from this disease and for the people who have to watch us go through it. I feel bad for them, watching and feeling helpless.
