    It depends, is there a family history, are you doing everything the doctor has told you to do? If you're following a low fat/carb lifestyle and there's no family history or Pancreas Divisum (increases risk of PC) then the chances of PC are decreased. Every case is different but just because a person is diagnosed with CP doesn't mean they will get PC. There's also a blood test to screen for PC. There's people who never had CP and got PC. In all honesty it's a question for your doctor.
