chronic pelvic, lower back, hip pain!.. please any advice

Hi all, I'm new to this forum after spending hours on the Internet looking for advice!.. a little of my history.. i've always had 'women' problems starting my period when i was 10, painful periods ect.. after 10 years of pain i was finally referred for a laparoscopy in 2010 all was clear and i got pregnant a few months after the pains went away whilst pregnant but returned soon after but constant and started to suffer constipation and vomitting after a few a&e visits and gp apps i had an endoscopy and colonscopy only thing that showed up was chronic gastritis was put on omeprazole. also had low vitamin d so took various supplements. Started feeling better got pregnant with baby number 2. All was fine natural labour felt fine up until April last year!...

Started getting lower back pain, pain left side near hip (inside groin) pain around the pubic bone, upper inner thighs!.. some days it's so painful others just a dull ache but still annoying when you have 2 kids under 5 to look after.. sad been to the gp and she put me on the pill but it hasn't helped she sent me for an vagina ultrasound came back fine but now she won't do anymore tests and keeps sending me home with codine and basically fobbing me off!..

Anyone else have my most recent symptoms (lower back pain, pain left side near hip (inside groin) pain around the pubic bone, upper inner thighs!..) or any advice?!... i feel so lonely and scared. My partners fed up of me and my pain dam i'm fed up of me!..

Thanks for taking the time to read this 😁

    Hi Farley 1109

Sorry to hear all that but i beleive its a difficult thing to solve, because my wife had similar problems.  Did the doctor suggest that it might be problems in the pelvis.  My wife got a book called 'Heal Pelvic Pain' by Amy Stien which gave lots of information including exercises for the muscle of the pelvis floor which helped her some.

Your lower back and hip pain sounds a lot like one of my friends who was diagnosed with hip osteoarthritis.  Have you been checked for that?

Hi,only just joined this forum so my reply to your post is late.your symptoms sound a lot like mine, after the birth of my youngest (4years ago) i had chronic cramping like period pain almost constantly, low back ache and achey legs, the left side of my vagina would swell up and i suffered with piles (sorry).I had 3 laproscopy surgerys on the second a small patch of endemitriosis was found and lazered off,but still the pain continued,I had the Merina coil fitted which was removed after 11 months because the pain became to much, many pain killers and injections to put my ovaries to sleep ,for 5 months i was in heaven no pain at all but sadly you can not have the injection longer than 5 months so i was back to square one.Due to my gynocologist leaving i got a new one ,he performed my 3rd laproscopy and found that i had congested pelvic vains 6 days ago he performed a sub total hysterectomy (fallopian tubes, womb and cervix) left my ovaries as i am only 40 years old, although it is still very early days i feel different,no swelling at all down below, other than the soreness from surgery no pain.!!!! Iam hoping that this is an end to 4 years of hell, check your symptoms alongside those of pelvic congestion syndrome ,it is hard to diagnose and a Doctor that knows what he's looking at helps.

    Good luck

      Hi Shelly

I have very similar symptoms and was wondering if your hysterectomy has cured your pain ?

      Sincerely hope so.

      Best wishes
