I know what you are going though I have had problems with my sinus since Jan this year they kept telling me it was rhino sinusitis and after 4 or 5 bad espisdes I had FESS operation to clear my sinuses at which point they took a biopsy and found out I had a very rare Auto immune disease called GPA formally know as Wegeners granulomatosis. I found that Steri mar and Sinusrinse helped. But maybe ask your dr about having a ANCA blood test to rule out any thing else your symptoms sound very familiar. Do you suffer with your ears or have re -occurring ear infections?

Hi no i haven't suffered any re occurring ear infections I am awaiting a ct scan did the surgery help ?I am sorry to hear about your condition the specialist said if he operated chances are it will come back my symptoms started basically with a cold that never went away to be honest I not sure what is going on my main symptoms are fatigue and nasal congestion I feel very agitated at times I had to demand to see ent then after seeing him felt more at a loss maybe after ct scan I may be more in the clear will ask about tests tho I hope you are managing your condition ok

Yes the operation has cleared the sinus I can breath out my nose again at least . I have been put on treatment plan for GPA it's all early days Prednisalone steroids hope to get to remission stage good luck I know how painful and depressing sinusitis can be. Can say operation has given me my sense of smell and taste back. Hope you get some relief soon

Hi had a letter saying from specialist saying I had enlarged inferior turbinates but no polyps which he didn't tell me when I saw him still none the wiser but think the turbinates have something to do with the nasal congestion and why the cold weather affects it more and why my nose is so dry getting there slowly

I have sinus problems too, trying lots of medication that the doctor has prescribed. But interestingly, I have just been on U Tube and looked at the surgery they do for Nasal Polyps and showing turbinates, what they should look like. Anyone with nasal problems. It is well worth watching. I think I have a deviates septum, and decided to take a look.

I have Hashimoto Disease, which is also an Auto Imune disease, so I shall keep GPA on my radar. Best wishes for improved health to all.
