Chronic symptoms, maybe something I caught in New Zealand?

Hello. A long shot...

I've been getting chronic malaise-like symptoms over the last few years, which gradually increased to a year ago and have recently subsided somewhat. I've been to the GP on many occasions, they gave me blood tests for deficiencies, then ADs, then ruled out CFS, then finally told me it was all my head and they won't even talk to me about it sensibly any more...

I'm still getting this thing, but has changed over the years. Now I get it for a a few hours to a day, every 4-6 days ish, could be a couple of weeks apart. Main symptoms are weakness, tiredness, headache, eyesight blurs, can't concentrate on anything, it feels like the beginning of a cold.

I had a virus while living in New Zealand a few years ago. It went on for a few weeks, then ended, then a few weeks later I had a crazy rash all over my torso, which the NZ GP said was the end of the virus. Well, I'd totally forgotten about this until my wife remembered it the other day. It does feel that this was before, but not long before I started getting these symptoms. Could there be a connection? Between these two events? I can't believe we haven't thought about it before...

Any thoughts appreciated 😃

    hi there,

Am just wondering if you have pain accompanying the weakness, tiredness? I know you mention headache, just wondering about any other pain. When you have the symptoms, what do you do to relieve them? Did the Dr explain why they outruled cfs/me? Is it because the episodes are spaced apart? am just curious as to why they outruled it.
