Ciliary nerve damage

If the long and short ciliary nerves inside the eye were damaged through trauma or for other reasons, could the damaged nerves have an effect on the pigments in the iris resulting in a change in eye (iris) color? All so if blood vessels and arteries were damaged inside the eye could it have an effect on the color of the iris?

Depending on which blood vessels were damaged, they could bleed into the iris I suppose. But I dont think this would be permanent. If the ciliary nerves are damaged it may cause a wide dilation of the pupil, making the eyes look black, but not to change the colour of the iris
