CINACALCET (Sensipar) Drug Medication for Primary Hyperparathyroidism???

Have been reading up about the Drug Medication CINACALCET (which also goes by the name of SENSIPAR and MIMIPAR), and of which is being recommended in the treatment of Primary Hyperparathyroidism.

Would like to hear anyone's opinion ref to the information on this particular drug.

It’s been recommended to my Mum already by an Endocrinologist, but I’m NOT going to risk her taking it, especially after reading up on the information in this page!!
