You've just reminded me that I have one upstairs in a cupboard somewhere!  It belonged to my mother in law,  I think I will get my husband to get it out so I can give it a try.  smile

You just reminded me, I have a similar thing somewhere which I got from The Clothes Show exhibition years ago.   It massages shoulders, back, legs, face and neck etc with different pads and you can also put it on the floor and put your foot on it.  It only does one leg at a time though, but I might fish it out and see how it feels.  Give yours a go and see how it feels.

    Hi Everyone,

After seeing Ian Botham advertising it, I bought one of the circulation boosters.  I am 12 weeks post THR and I,ve been walking with no aids since week 2 and have slept on my good side from day 1.  Due to other conditions I was unable to do much physio.  So, in short, I,ve done everything "wrong"!  My only problem has been staying awake!  I am on a chemo type medicine to treat Lupus and find myself dropping asleep all the time.  This affects my mobility, obviously and I was worried about my circulation, which is why I tried the device.  It is a strange sensation, but not unpleasant.  It causes the muscles in your legs to contract and relax in the same way as walking.  You need to make sure your feet are well covered in some kind of cream to make them moist, otherwise you don,t get a good connection and it won,t work very well.  You can adjust the intensity of the charge you receive and the length of time you use it.  The user manual is helpful and easy to use.   I would spend an hour using it at night, watching TV or reading and it really did help me a lot.  It should not be used by anyone with a pacemaker and if you suffer from an irregular heartbeat you should check with your GP.

    i hope this helps!

    Sue xx
