Cit & Alcohol

Hi Guys

Been on cit close to 10 months now and the last 2 months have def been my best and feel like i am finally getting back to myself.

However last week i went to a party and def over did it with drinks, i completely blanked out and has a terrible 2 day hangover. I am not a heavy drinker but i guess the occasion got to me.

However now 4/5 days later i feel crap again, burning, tingling feelings, kinda like when i started the meds, and generally feel crap and low mood. i am taking these for anxiety.

Has anyone went through this before and how long will it last ?

I will know better to know my limits going forward.

Thanks

I always get this when drinking alcohol. I guess the alcohol stops the medication from working properly. I usually feel better after a week or so. Hope you start to feel better soon.

hi i've the same feelings when i drink alcohol during the week end . I've a low mood, feeling tired and brain fog for the first days of the week. Normally feeling better starting mid-week. Perhaps the alcohol is reducing the effectiveness of the med. Wishing you the feel better soon
