Cit & tinnitus

Hi Guys

I started taking lexapro 3 months ago, i want to say 6 weeks into it i woke up with ringing in my ears, i switched to Citalopram as Lex was not helping much, Cit is working goof for me now i feel and i feel like i am on the right track. However, i have got this ringing in my ears now and seems to be getting worse tbh, I went to ENT and he said my ears were good and no hearing issues and kinda said keep going and it should leave.. I also have clicking in my jaw and have TMJ too which i taught maybe it could be from that, i got a night guard and still no real relief.. I really dont want to come of the Cit as it was hell getting on the right track and i do not see the point in changing as there all SSRI's.. Has anyone else went through this ? could it be the meds ?

If i new it would go after time i would sit it out,,

Any tips woudl help.

Thanks

Tom

Hey Thomas. It will go away sooner than you think. These side dffects come and go until your body levels off. Good to hear you are feeling better.
