    Hi Sarah

Is this your first time on the meds? If so it was the same for me. I thought I had turned a corner then ended up back in bed isolating.

It usually takes around 3-4 months before you feel the benefits and along the way you'll be up and down.  So yes, this is quite normal.  Even after you begin feeling better you'll be up and down and will often think you're back at the beginning.  Again this is normal and it'll all even out in the end.  Just keep going and going - it took around. 6 months before I felt completely well.

    Hi Sarah

just as Katecogs said it takes 3-4 months to be really effective and then another 3 months to feel anxiety free. at least this is what it was like for me. I am 14 months along my journey and feeling great but it takes time and you need to keep pushing on and tackling one day at a time.

You will get there and yes this is only a setback it will get better.x

Hi citalprom differs with everyone bcoz we have unique genes like what Kate said it took 3 months for her, believe it or not it took a week for citalprom to kick in for me, l am sure it should take less than 2 weeks.

Don't think I felt too bad on day 11 it's been everyday since Sunday which was day 13 but I don't think I ad any side effects at all but I only saw my doc yesterday I've been on an upped dose since day 7 and they say you can get side effects every time you up and doc said it was early days and if they suited us and worked for us last time I'm sure they will again just think my anxiety is worse this time and it was made even worse by a two week spell on sertraline that I stopped 17 days ago which made my anxiety worse I've not got to see doc for two weeks but if I'm no better middle next week I'm going earlier I need to get back to work will have been off 7 weeks and I'm sure being at home makes me worse
