Citalopram 20mg and Amitriptyline 10mg side effects

I have been taking Citalopram 20mg in the morning for some years to help with anxiety and they help a lot, but recently I have also been prescribed Amitriptyline 10mg taken at night to help with my back pain.

Is it OK to take these two tablets and what side effects do they have.

I ask because I have been taking these two tablets for the past 10 days and they seem to be helping a lot, but today for the first time I feel very agitated, just wonder if it could be caused by this mixture of medication.
