Hi

I took my first citalopram yesterday, 20 mg and omg I feel absolutely dreadful.

I feel as if my body is going at 100 mph. Can't sleep can't sit still. Scared now to take another one.

Hi there  My doctor advised me to take the Citalopram in the am as it might  keep me awake at night  I have been taking 20 mgs. for 12 years. I feel that had my entire family had been taking this moood stablizing medication they might still be alive. Depression runs very deep in my family. I feel that this medication has basically saved my ;ife!

      Thank you for your post.

yes it does in mine too . My mother had several nervous breakdowns in her 20/30s and was never right her whole life.

It took me years to realise that I had that chemical imbalance too. As do my children in some lesser respect. They need to be aware but I was too ashamed of myself at first to share that. Now I realise it's just a chemical I lack and it's saved mine too👏👏

i take mine whenever I turn over from about 7 am as I had same problem

Wether that would have settled as a side effect I don't know

      😎
