I believe I'm going through this too. I've been on cit 10 mg for a week and then up to 20 mg. Tomorrow will make it a week. I've had some anxious hours and then depressed hours, and then some good hours. Today is rough and the feeling of giving up and hopelessness hit me hard, but last night I was hopeful. I believe it is a part of the process as your body adjusts. At least I hope so.

do u think the dosage increase affects us.. the day before I increased I was on 10mg for 28 days..on day 28 I felt slightly better..was so unsure of wether to increase my dose.. but I did and 4 days on I have no notion how to feel.. I hope this doesn't last forever xx

yes it definitely affects me. Im feeling it more this week than last week...and that is a decrease in dose. It is individual though so don't overthink it....easier said than done...when I moved from 10mg to 20mg I had felt ok, but knew that 20mg had worked for me previously so I wanted to get on it asap...My own impatience is to blame, but nobody on this earth could be patient with this illness

it seems a few of us are struggling atm
I've been on citalopram in the past with no side effects this time round it's been pretty rough
anxiety worse
depression worse
and when they hit together it's just like one big brain fart!
I'm 4 weeks on 20mg now and some days have been okish and some days like today have been extremely difficult
when the citalopram kicks in you will wake up with little to no anxiety x bad days you might have a little but nothing compared to now x

I heard a few on these pages saying when they restart again it's so different.. I havent used any other apart from 2 that made me ten times worse.. some days I think I should never have started any at all. I hope you feel better soon
