Your fear of eating in case it led to more illness caused you anxiety and now the real danger is that if you do not eat or keep taking medicines or losing weight you might come to more harm than what the food poisoning caused you. If we look back at our life, with all the food that you ate there was only one case of food poisining. It is hard to fight fear, but maybe you can go on food  hygiene courses and in future prepare food by yourself if you can in the cleanest way possible to avoid future food poisoning. Try not to eat out but if you do make sure the food is hot and the place is clean. Try gentle exercise, go to the countryside, look at nature and be part of the beauty and the serenity. Write about it in a light humor way and make yourself laugh at your fear. Teach others to be careful of food poisoning. Be aware that you are too unique to let this fear defeat you and watch comedies, write, draw, listen to fun music and do things to distract you. Get fruit, and study nutrition, start eating good foods and fight back

Thanks for your comment, it's easier said than done though. I want to eat normal and stuff. I got better then it all went down hill again because I got food poisoning again not as bad just a little bit but it bought back all the bad things that's happened and it's made me back to where I was again. I'm back on the meds and hope they can sort me out but the side effects off the tablets make it harder to eat and I'm more anxious. Don't know how to get around all this

I often think that meds might do more harm than good. It is not easy, I agree. I know how anxiety and depression feels, and am not sure how you can get aroun=d this but I truly hope that you will find the way

you need to be able to trust the food you prepare is ok and start to eat again.  The food poisoning has told your mind that food is bad and to avoid it.  Try and beat that thought and start to eat again or if you can't you need to see a specialist on eating disorders to get you back to normal.

Hey Jason hope your doing ok bud x

Must be horrible to feel like that and there's not really any words that will make you feel better but you have dealt with so much mate and helped me and others and it's sad reading your in a bad way.

You must try and eat though, your anxiety over what happened will make it impossible to I know but remember how positive you have been with me and all of the kind words you have said and you owe it to yourself to do this.. Probably bad advice because I know if I were in your situation words probably wouldn't do much either..

Your a top guy and I won't ever be able to thank you for talking to me and listening, you can do this Jason you've been through enough and deserve it if not for anyone but yourself mate x
