Hi all
I´m new on the forum and I need a bit of help
i was on citalopram for the past 3 years and I decided to stop 5 months ago and anxiety came back bad which led to depression.
I still feel depressed after 7 weeks, is it too early to give up?
why is it taking so long?
Also, do you guys feel like going to work help even though you arent feeling too well ?
thank you everyone

Hello iriris
Thank you for your response.
Are you taking it for anxiety or depression?
Do you go to work even if you are not feeling too well? if yes, does it help?
Thank you

Hello Melissa , my daughters middle name, I am now taking it for anxiety I took it for 18 yrs. for now and again panic attacks that I think got worse with perimenopause until a year ago I went slowly off for 8 mths. then 4 mths. later I started getting severe anxiety and had to go back on , have always been very active and healthy but this dropped me. Since Feb. I was on Celexa 4 weeks then zoloft 2 then ciprolex 12 now back on celexa I will not change again I think changing made it worse. Doctors do not know enough about this and do not prepare you enough. I cleaned my house for a while today and keeping busy helps but not if your not ready to go back to work for 8 hrs. I am retired so do not have to worry about that or I would have to take time of. I take a couple of natural products not sure if I can name them here but ask at the health store and tell them you take Celexa and ask the doctor so they know my doctor is o.k. with it. This will get better but it's a painful wait , but everyday will bring new things buy next summer we will be laughing again....
😆 in the sun shine.
