Hi all, I've been on Citalopram for intrusive thoughts and anxiety for 8weeks now. 10mg for the most part but i was on 20 mg for 2 weeks but dropped back to 10mg becuase 10mg suits me more. this is the 8th week and i can barely see the light at the end of the tunnel. I was feeling good all these weeks.. I felt more confident i was doing well and now i guess im expeeriencing a blip.. Im feeling so confused and tired and i want to give up.. im so weepy and scared that I'll never recover. I'm only 21 years old and all i just want is my life back. I'm fed up 😦

    Hi Sharon

You will recover you just need to give it more time. You probably made things worse by switching doses. I did exactly the same thing when I started taking it. 10mg suited me better and I was good on it for 10 years. It will get better, just stick to one dose and give it chance to work.😊

Yes, just keep going that's the right thing to do if you're physically capable. You've done 8 weeks so it will get better and the more you can keep your mind occupied the easier it will become. 😊
