I've been on 20mg citalopram for just over two years. recently I've had a funny turn and increased from 20mg to 40mg, I've been on this dose for about 4 weeks and i feel like the side effects are crippling me, constantly shaking, feeling really uneasy when I'm walking about. just want to know if anyone else has had the same experience as me or just any advise.

hi. i notice that you posted this a couple of weeks ago. how are you doing now? it took me a few weeks to adjust to 40mg from 20 but once it settled down it really made a positive difference. i have been on 40mg 8 months now and it has helped a lot. i hope things are improving for you

thats a major change all at once. Should have maybe went to 30 first. These meds work very slow.
