Has anyone else experienced severe rash and itching with Citalopram tapering. Antihistamine is taking the edge off but I still look like a scabies case 🙈

That can happen with withdrawal, look up central nervous system and itching. Withdrawal affects your nervous system. It will subside so hang in there.

Not me but from my research during my tapering, I found out that a lot were suffering from these symptoms!
Since ssris are messing around also with the histamine receptors in our body and disregulate them, this is expected as a withdrawal symptom in a lot of cases.
As reported, antihistamines help, and the symptoms gradually stop., but that could take from a couple of weeks, to a few months.
