Citalopram tiredness

Hi Everyone, looking for reassurance once again. Health anxiety and Ocd are the worst. Im just into week 5 and started to feel really tired. Is this normal? Perhaps a sign anxiety is subsiding? Feeling really worried.Is this normal?

    Im a year in and feel tired most of the time. I can function better than early on, but I could also sleep pretty much any time I lay down and try.

    Anyone had luck with these tablets & recovered from intrusive thoughts/ocd

      Made thoughts lot worse for me and gave me ocd type symptoms never had before. Mine due to zopiclone withdrawal so might be different if it is a pre existing condition. Idid try sertraline as well so swapping meds probably didnt help. Trying wean off them which is pretty brutal. Think they work well for many people but made things worse for me. but Ididnt have any symptoms before withdrawing from zopiclone.

      @james82283 That's good to hear.

      I am on week 14, but only slight improvement so was just wandering.

      Many people put that they recovered but was just wandering on recovery for intrusive thoughts.

      says it can trigger thoughts /ocd in some people but if you are noticing slight improvement sounds like it is working for you. It made things worse for me but we're all different.

      Try googling reviews for citalopram ocd, seems work for some not for others. Iwas only 10Mg so maybe dose was too low but couldn't tolerate side effects. Hope you get some positive responses.

      @lemanna Yes i think it may be slow progress...i know these pills take time & dont work on everything all at once.

      I wished they did.

      Thank you for your reply. I also tried Sertraline in the past...i got scared that i was on AD so i stopped them after 11 days but the tiredness & upset tummy were awful from them.

      I will persevere & hope for the best 😃

      Hope they work for you if you had bit of progress sounds promising. I tried meds for 5 months with no success but my case probably different as my symptoms caused by zopiclone withdrawal.
