Citalopram to Escitalopram

Hi all,

Wondering if anyone had success in switching from Citalopram over to Escitalopram. I had been taking 40mg of Citalopram for probably 10 years, but it just seemed to abruptly stop working. The last month I have had several panic attacks, with my usual agoraphobia. Lovely, right? Well, I started up with therapy again and started on the Escitalopram this week. I do notice small positive differences already, but naturally still having intense anxiety and panic.

I think I just need some reassurance that after a while, the medication will start working for me, and I will be able to feel at ease again.

Really grateful for our little community here!
