Citalopram Withdrawal

Hello, I hope you're all really well,

I'm having a bad time coping with Citalopram withdrawal. I've weaned off since February, stopped taking them daily about 5 weeks ago. I bit a 10mg tab in half 2 weeks ago for some relief, and that was my last dose.

My main problem is severe insomnia, where I get restless legs and wild painful itching.

My doctor has prescribed anti histamines (they've stopped being so effective), and zoplicone (which makes me very nauseous).

Has anyone experienced this? I'm desperate for a remedy for the restlessness and itches. I have ordered some good purity CBD oil, which I normally find great for everything.

Thank you xx

Hello, ive been off citalopram for 3 months now and i tapered really slowly. i didnt get any withdrawals except dizzyness and anger but 3 weeks ago it seems ive started getting quite bad withdrawals.

i get bad restless legs too but ive always had it so im not sure if its due to citalopram or lack of iron with me. it seems to of got better since i stopped taking citalopram but thats when i started taking iron tablets so it could be either. what helps me is a hot water bottle or a hot wheat bag and nurofen.

i have cbd oil too, it makes me really drowsy so i find it easier to sleep when ive taken it i think it will help for the restless legs and itches too it seems to calm everything down

    hope youre okay
