Citalopram withdrawal after only one day!

hi

just wondered if anyone can help by providing reassurance on this.

due to a bout of ill health that the doctors decided must be anxiety (I don't agree as i've had both anxiety and depression in the past and feel the best i ever have mentally), GP put me on citalopram. I took it on saturday morning and the side effects were so horrific i never took another one. i had immediate nausea, diarrhea and dizziness as well as a sense of dissociation and feeling of being 'high'. i felt really rough on sunday too. but now ever since i've had nausea and diarrhea every day, struggling with sleep, dizziness and light headedness, palpitations and a general feeling of being a bit 'out of it' can you get withdrawals from citalopram after only one day?
