Gonna depend on you everyone is different! I started with 10mg and had side effects I increased a week ago to 15mg had some side effects but they weren't as bad as when I started with 10mg. Are you going to increase or stay on 5mg?

I started with 10mg and yes it made me feel weird among other thing took a couple of months to level out. This time my doctor increased me to 20mg but I am only taking 15mg the side effects haven't been bad. My pharmacist said increasing slowly by cutting in half or by cutting into quarters was fine and would help not have as bad as side effects!

Been on the drug now for about ten years or so, the drug does not cause me any real problems barring a headache that never stops. We go through the mill when we feel the alternatives may be a problem as well as I have to take Opiate type medications and other stuff as well. It is a real soup

When I started taking this drug at 10mg I had side effects. for several weeks they upped th dose when they knew the early side effects cleared, the final drug level in my case was 20mg
If the person is younger or a Pensioner the effect of a 5mg dose of medication may be suffiient for the first introduction of the medication, a further 5mg dose may be introduced
I understand that this medication has amplified countrindications the older the patient becomes.
I have not seen a 5mg tablet although it would be a good medication pathway for some
