Citroplam day 14

Hello, im on day 14 of citroplam, thought i was seeing a small improvement but last few days i ve had terrible broken sleep waking up every 2 hours. Anxiety has been through the roof first thing on a morning until i had taken tablets and my skin has felt like it was burning. I also feel a bit spaced out like im not really here. Has anyone experienced this? please tell me it will get better, ive already tried Setraline and Fluxoetine which had had to stop due yo servere side effects.

    Hi Jlloyd85/14days is very little,you need to be on it for minimum of 8/10 weeks whilst it gets your body used to the medication.Keep on with it as it will help you allot.

      Thank you so much for responding. I'll keep going. Its just a shame i wasn't perscribed the citroplam first when i first went to the doctors back in Oct. Im hopeful it will help in time x

    hey I'm at week 6 on 20mg and still have the brain fog.

    the brain fog will be the increased anxiety.

    once your anxiety starts going it will get better but I feel you it's horrible x

    everything else is completely normal side effects x

    it takes time and feeling like going backwards is completely normal x keep going.

      Thank you for taking the time to respond. I was just worried as id had a few brighter days followed by some awful ones. I was panicking that it wasnt working particularly as id had a bad time on two previous meds which hadnt agreed with me. It is awful but im probably being impatient hopefully i just need to give it more time xx

    that's can be normal..I know it feels like a long road ahead but these will work.. I started on sertraline and boy did they mess me up.. took citalopram 10 mg for 28 days and upped to 20mg for this past 19 days.. days will get better.. I had a few bad days last week and that's what they call a blip..keep hanging in there..xx

      Yes i had a terrible time on sertraline too side effects were extreme only managed 4 days so now on 10mg of citalopram. Its certainly better with minimal side effects, just started to panic that it wasnt working after id had a few bad days. Hopefully ill get there in time im just desperate to feel myself again. Thanks for taking the the time to respond xx
