Hello Lisa.Amongst other things wrong with me.I claim PIP.Personal Independant Payment. The best advice I can give is. You need to score 12 points to get money so when doing it, although it feels like your pride is being ripped apart think of your worst day. For example when they ask do you need assistance getting dressed you can answer yes if it means you have to sit on the bed or floor to do it. Every question think on your worst day. Like can you clean yourself to an acceptable and hygienic level, answer no if you have days when you don't have the energy to bath. You need as many ticks as you can get without lying of course. But remember on the days when the pain and fatigue get too much that sometimes you can't do what you want so you can tick boxes that maybe you wouldn't. If that makes sense.

It sure is a horrible situation alright! Drinking plenty of water helps the bones.2 litres/big bottle of water a day.Greens because they are high in boron and magnesium helps too.I just wilt some spinach in a wok each day, which makes it easy to eat.The age old cod liver oil. When I've tried the medication my rheumatologist has prescribed.Boy.The side effects! I take morphine on re-prescription which keeps the pain at bay if I don't take it all the time, and use it as a treat. So difficult though, what with you driving as part of your job.You could try the new cannabis oil treatment I've read about. It's available in a well known health store.Initials.H & B.Just Google cannabis oil for osteoarthritis, and there are a lot of articles on it.Like this headline "Studies suggest that CBD oil could play a role in treating arthritis and other ...Osteoarthritis" If I can think of anything else to help I'll post it to you Lisa.

Hi Lisa
If you can walk more than 20 meters then you won't get PIP, it's as simple as that. I had my DLA to PIP Assessment this summer, I can hardly walk due to spinal, leg problems amongst other things but THEY assessed that I could walk more than 50 meters but not more than 200 meters..... I wish I could!!!!
You can try to get PIP for Oesteo, as Ianf has said, be truthful, they will be watching you like a hawk from the moment you walk in the door (they have CCTV camera's from that point) ....As Steve has already said, you MUST answer their questions as if it is your worst day ever.. Get professional letters (GP, etc) to back you up, sorry to say that doesn't mean you WILL get PIP but it will give you the best chance of it.
I'm sorry to be so brutally honest but it's best you know the truth
I wish you all the best
