Clammy sticky Skin

Posted , 2 users are following.

Since around mid December 2017 I have been getting clammy, sticky skin from the following areas below.

under arms

groin

backs of legs

arm folds

lower front of neck.

The worst places are my under arms and groin. I have seen three doctors at my GP practise, but despite several various prescriptions non have worked. I am now waiting to see a Dermatologist specialist but that appointment isn't until late April 2018. It doesn't cause any body odour just an annoying uncomfortable feeling, especially around the groin area where underwear comes into contact.

Has anyone else experienced this and how did you cure it. I would love to know as this is getting to me now.

Below are the various medications I have tried. Would antibiotics cause this?

Daktacort® 2% / 1% w/w cream

Daktarin Aktiv Spray Powder

Fluconazole 50mg capsules

Anhydrol Forte Roll On 20% w/v Cutaneous Solution

Dermol 500 lotion (Dermal Laboratories Ltd) - 500 ml - bd

Various anti persperant deoderants

I have no rash anywhere but I do get quite a sore feeling in the groin area, but nothing shows.

As much as we all like to play "doctor " and I have been to dermatologists 50 times or more...I will not guess your problem but would say go to a teaching hospital where the dermatologist are a large group

and see the chief of dermatology... and yes you'll wait longer for the appointment too !

it could be a reaction to medicine your taking or a diet related issue.. The Skin issue could be fungi or bacterial related and all the medicines you mentioned cover those ...
