only been on them two days - for vaginal infection. 500mg x twice a day.
my stomach is so bloated i cant fit in my jeans - i cannot stop passing wind and my tummy hurts.
is it me or is this a side effect?

Infection medications do not cause bloated tummies or passing wind, it depends on what you eat. I suppose you could try infection creams if infection is on the outside of the vagina. You can get something over the counter for the infection.
