Clearing throat after eating.

Hi there, I hope someone can help.

For the past year and a half or so I noticed that about 90% of the time after I eat I have to constantly clear my throat for sometimes up to 2 hours and only in the last 2-3 months have a really noticed it because someone pointed it out to me. I end up with a headache and feel like I can barely breathe. I googled it and I read a fer things about being allergic to gluten. Does anyone have any information or help? Thank you

It maybe related to irritation in your throat from infection. Do you have sore throat, fever, etc ?

I don't really ever get a sore throat or fever, sometimes my throat will get sore from having to clear it so much but other than that it's never sore.

Hi Petet1 I have been suffering with throats clearing for a year now I have been told by Doctors I have silent reflux, taking fizzy drinks and sweets and dairy out of my diet has helped a little bit but it is still very bad I am clearing my throats all day long. I have tried anti acids which have not had any effect and been back to doctors so many times but I am not getting taken seriously.
