Clexane injections

please could somebody tell me how many days you are supposed to have these injections?

    I have a supply for 32 days and on top of that I had 4 injections at the hospital .

      Yes I did! My stomach felt like a pin cushion by the end! Can't say I enjoyed doing it but was worried about DVT if I didn't! They supplied me with a special box to dispose of the needles and I took this back to hospital for my 6 week check only to be told they couldn't dispose of them!!! My local pharmacy took them!

    Hello Ruth, I had that same anti-clot for 2 days in hospital after op  and 28 days at home, yes took all. Not pleasant but its not for long. How many shots did the hospital suppy you with, mine came in boxes of 10 - 3 boxes less 2 units used when I was in hospital.

      Hello Ruth, you should have had a form stating what drugs you were supplied by the hospital, for how long you needed to take them - including the clexane also the booklet for clexane

      thank you I had 28 days supply last one tommorrow thank goodness i hate needles make hubby do it. stomack like a pin cushion

    I had tablets instead much better do same thing . Depends on hospital .

    Maybe it's different in the UK but here in the states my doc said nothing about injections. He said I would be on regular strength aspirin.
