How long since your replacement? I know I had that issue early after my replacement, but it was the tendons and so forth getting in place. sounds like you are the tin man , but that is what mine was. I also had a plate that they had to learn to move around. Did the same thing there as well. I would ask my doc through, better save than sorry

Yep, a few clunks and clicks! Not going to worry unless it hurts. Might restart the cod liver oil! Let's oil the beasts!

I am 10 months out and have some clicking and popping when I do certain exercises and even when I am walking sometimes. I feel it more in the groin on that side of the thr than the hip itself. It doesn't really hurt but just feels weird.

as long as it is not painful, it is quite normal.
This can happen from a tendon, called the psoas tendon, rubbing against the new hip. With exercise and time, this sensation will disappear.
Usually this popping sensation occurs while the hip is healing, and during turning the leg side to side.
How are you doing otherwise?

Thanks renee 😚, it doesn't hurt it just feels horrible 😷😖 and weird. I'm so paranoid about dislocation 😪. It makes me feel slightly sick . I'm doing well I think, very similar to Hazil, I'm 3 weeks 6 days and it's been so tough . Going on everyone else I'm hopeful that things start to look up a little from now 😳🙏🏻. I tripped over my crutches in the middle of the night 😱😱, stumbled forward a few steps 😫And pulled all my muscles in operation leg , ouch ouch ouch 😫😫. As long as I don't keep doing that I should stay on track. Xxxxx 💖💞💜💛🌟???

(I recently tripped over a rollator (4 wheeled walker) while voluntering in senior homeand almost hit the ground in a split ... that was so painful -)
3-6 weeks post op are notorious for feeling up and down - you are feeling better, you do more and overdo it ... over and over again -
it is part of the wobbly path ... and it is okay --- so no need to beat yourself up -
your body is healing from major surgery and also is trying to help you get stronger ... it is still so fragile ....
tender love and care, okay ....
