Clicking/popping in shoulder, causes?

Posted , 2 users are following.

I cannot find any information on this. When I do certain exercises, I feel a clicking or popping in my shoulder. I'm not sure if I hear it or not, but I know I feel it. Especially when they were having me do the overhead movements with the bar. I can lift my arms directly over my head with palms down arms straight with no pain but I do hear the clicking. Sorry, this is so repetitive but want to be as clear as possible in what is happening. Thank you for any and all help.

What are you talking about?  Rehab?  Surgery? Normal exercise?

I'm sorry. During PT they had me raising a bar over my head while lying on the table, like overhead presses. When I was doing this, I'd get to this certain point and I'd hear/feel a slight clicking noise. I told the therapist and she came and put her hand on my shoulder while I continued the exercise. I was wondering what would have caused this.
