Clogged/blocked ear

i am getting over a cold and my ears are blocked. How can I unblock them? I have tried yawning, chewing, swallowing water but they've been like this all day.

    The only thing that helps me is taking a decongestant (well, antihistamine/decongestant because for me it's usally from seasonal allergies). If that's available over-the-counter, you may want to try it. Hope you're back to normal soon!

    Hi, Lucy ,it will just be a matter of time, for congestion to clear it self, hate to say this but one of my ears took 3 months, but did clear eventually, .I don't think there is a definitive time limit. Good luck

    i totally understand how you must be feeling as I have suffered same thing. Steam inhalation with few drops olbas oil added helps. I also use nasal spray Sterimar which is just natural sea water. In time it will clear. Hope your feeling well soon
