In brief. I have been a Foley catheter patient for >5 years.

The first year was satisfactory. Subsequently blockages have occurred with increasing frequency. Call outs in the past 6 months have been particularly bad. In a final effort to reduce use of NHS resources I have devised a method that eliminates all debris/sediment in urine. Drainage is very clear and I have been able to considerably reduce liquids intake, which was often >3 litres daily.

In another 4 weeks I shall confirm findings to Urology and report to the forum.

Catheter patients are welcome to message me in the meantime.
