Clomipramine

Hi,  has anyone taken Clomipramine for anxiety?  I have tried almost all SSRI  to no avail and am due to go to the GP later and was going to ask to try Clomipramine.

    I took Clomipramine for severe depression and anxiety, it worked for me so give it a try. Neil

      Hi thanks. What dose were you on? How long did it take and did you suffer side effects??

      I was on clomipramine for 32 years, this drug saved my life and brought me back to normal, can't praise it enough x

      Sorry Milliemoo I can't remember the dose I was on, it worked after a few weeks and I had no side effects.

    I say approach it with cautious, It is an old medication and doesn't necessarily works for everyone. If you get severe or moderate depersonalization or derealization I suggest you drop or at least call your doctor immediately. Although with your level medical history it doesn't seem to be a problem XD
