Clonidine side effects

Hi, my neurologist has prescribed Clonidine to help with my chronic migraines . I have only been on them a week taking 1mg at nighttime,  but already experiencing a headache through the night (which does eventually go within  an hour of getting up) , with dry mouth, heart palpatations and anxiety. I’m also feeling very tired during the day. Has anyone experienced similar symptoms and will they go over time?  Thanks . Cindy

    Hi Cindy,I had the same palpitations,extreme tiredness etc.The tiredness,anxiety and dry mouth will ease off but if the palpitations continue,go back to your Doctor.I felt like I was being kicked in the chest and I've yet to find a preventative that truly works without side effects but we are all different. Fingers crossed this works for you.Let us know how you get on x
