Had lichen for 3 years been to doctors there creams did help a bit. I'm 62 years old.Tried lots of creams but useless. So I thought I would try a jar of emu cream , what a difference within 3 months white marks are gone no more splitting of skin. I also got some emu massage oil which I add water too keep in toilet ,skin feels like its a light heating effect but don't use it much. I also texted company about this cream to let them know how good it is for lichen.

Hya Leslea, I’ve used the emu oiment now for the second time after leaving a large space. It smells like Vick’s rapour rub, it’s stings when I put it on. And I washed it off 2Nd timecouldnt deal with the pain, does that mean it’s working the stinging sensation? I have read the views and they are all amazing.

Blueplum it sounds like you need pure emu oil and yours probably contains other ingredients (especially if it smells like vapor rub!!). Try a pure one with no added ingredients.

I have also recently started using it and it’s been very soothing. Helps with my pain too.

    Hi

What color is the jar of Emu cream you have? I went on Amazon, all I can find is Emu Cream & Oil loaded with chemicals I can't pronounce.

Can you tell me (us) what ingredients are in it? Maybe it has a lot of dif stuff in it. Someone mentioned Emu Oil burns etc. I'd like to try it, but the cost is ridiculous & I don't want to throw my money away by getting the wrong Cream.

    Thanks

Hi Helen , the ingredients is water, mineral oil, stearic acid, cetearyl alcohol, sorbitol, emu oil, carbomer, fragrance, triethanolamine, 2-bromo-2nitropropane-1. Image below of jar. This is a cream with emu oil in it does not burn feels cool. This is a cream not oil. Small jar would lasts about 9 months. I can only tell you what worked for me and I really hope its works for others too. They are right about emu oil burns but that is the oil so please don't get mixed up with this. I only used it when my skin was a lot better. Start with cream only. Leslea
