hi, I had an abdominal hysterectomy almost 4 weeks ago. I had every apart from 1 ovary removed. I just tried on my regular trousers and skirts with buttons and zips and to my horror they will not go anyway near me. it's very depressing. has anyone experienced this. how long did it take for your figure to return to normal

Hi Margo,
I went through the exact same procedure just over 4 weeks ago and ended up the same as you with just the one ovary left. I couldn't even wear knickers for the first couple of weeks as it felt so uncomfortable. At present i am just sticking to tracky bottoms and leggings but mostly just stay in pyjamas so haven't even attempted jeans yet!
I see you posted a while back now so just wondered how you are managing after the 6-8 weeks recovery time as I am really struggling.
It would be really good to hear from other people who have gone through the same thing please x
