Hi bassilli...I get clots only occasionally. Did they just start today...How huge... Any pain... If they are every 30 min...I would give a call to your dr a call...only to be cautious...

YES!!! My period is very heavy for a couple days with large clots.. I take iron but usually I'm exhausted for the first couple days. The bleeding is unreal so I started using super plus tampons AND a pad for those heavy days. Well, this is gross but I got a tampon stuck and could not get it out!! Went to the doctor for help and it wasn't easy for them either. BUT she told me not to use tampons anymore since our 'older Vaj' are shaped differently now. She also sent me for an ultrasound just to make sure 'things' are OK with this heavy bleeding and clots. I know google is dangerous but I have to 'change' more often than it suggests and also if your clots are bigger than a quarter then you should check it out. I'm pretty sure that some of mine are bigger than a quarter so I'm glad that I'll be doing this ultrasound just to make sure.
