cloudy urine, burning, urine test came back negative for UTI.

I'm a 26 yr old male, I've been peeing cloudy for months now, not eveytime I pee, usually just once a day, and the rest seem normal. Lately it seems like its more cloudy then before. Also at night i have to get up alot to pee, but its usually just a few drops each time. Just recently two things happened, on two different occasions. First, I was peeing and it seemed to be normal color, but at the last end it turned white/cloudy and right at the last drop or two it looked like white flaky particles in it. Since then I've been noticing the particles more often. Second thing, almost two weeks after noticing the particles I was peeing one night and it seemed to burn quite bad at the last few drops, and when I was done it didn't feel like a finished, felt like I still had more. I went to outpatients the other night, did a urine sample and the test come back negative for UTI, so they sent it to a lab, next morning they did blood work and another urine sample. Waiting for the results now. Dr thinks it could be a prostate infection (prostatitis) caused from chlamydia so he put me on Ciprofloxacin. I dont think its from chlamydia because the two girls I've had unprotected sex with both been tested recently and come back clean. He also said its possible it could be stones. Anyone have any idea what this could be?

    facts

Up until 3 days ago I drank Pepsi and redbull everyday and very little water, if any at all.

I have a history of cancer in my family.

    I haven't peed any blood.

Dr said feels like prostate could be swollen, thinks it could be prostatitis caused by infection such as gonnorhea/chlamydia.

No discharge if I'm not peeing.

    Questions

Any chance this could still be a UTI and the test at outpatients just showed up negative?

Does it sound like an std?

Could it be from dehydration or too much caffeine?

If I had unprotected sex and the two girls came back clean does that mean I'm clean?

    Could it be stones?

I'm pretty scared while waiting for lab results to come back so if anyone got any ideas of what this could be please let me know...thanks.

    Hello Lance83262.

Sorry to hear your problem. I've had UTI 8 times now in the past 7 months & every time I've done a urine sample it has come back Negative for UTI however, I'm still diagnosed with UTI and put on antibiotics to treat UTI. So it is possible the you do just have UTI and are just coming back negative because the bacteria is detectable. Have you looked up symptoms of UTI. Look them up and see which symptoms you are experiencing! Also your doctor should make you do an STI check to check that it isn't from a STD and if the girls you where with where clean too, you should be fine! Hope this helps & you start to feel better. Hope it gives you some peace of mind knowing you can have negative results and still have UTI.

Thank you, it made me feel a little better. My symptoms are, I have to pee a lot, especially after I lay down to sleep, but when I do it is just a few drops. Go lay back down and 5 mins later, same thing. Do this anywhere from 2 to 10 times a night. Cloudy pee, very cloudy sometimes, when it hits the toilet bowl you can watch it cloud the water. Usually its white cloudy, but sometimes its yellowish cloudy. Recently noticed white flakes, looks like particles from a snow globe but a little smaller, when this happens, its when I'm almost finished peeing. Burning, only happened once, maybe twice. Urine seems to smell normal, no blood. Could it be a yeast infection?
