cm 1 with associated syringoma and flying

My son has type 1 with associated syrinx and fluid on his brain. Does anyone know if he's able to fly as trying to get hold of his neurosurgeon is near enough impossible

    Hi, my daughter has the same, Chiari malformation one and her entire spine is a syrinx. 12 surgeries. We just talked to her neurosurgeon about this. He said it's ok to fly. No worries ??

    Hi there, i remember when prior with my surgery I asked my NS, according to him, depending how I feel..if I could cope with it should be OK, its just sometime, the pressure get even worse.with flying..check with your doctor
