Coffee/Caffeine and Citalopram.

I've always been sensitive to coffee, but since started Citalopram 3 years ago I've noticed it effects me negatively so completely stopped drinking it.

I recently received a high end coffee machine as a gift and forgetting I have this sensitivity, I had half an espresso this morning.

It immediately kicked in and within 5 minutes my heart rate was up to 120 (from 60), I felt nauseous, scared, hot and cold, trembling muscles to the point where my teeth were chattering, over stimulated in general.

It's been 2 and a half hours now and my heart rate is back to normal, but I still have dry mouth, feel drained, waves of flushing in my face and chest, I'm still feeling as though I want to vomit, want to sleep but can't because i feel strange when I lay down.

Does anyone have experience with this? It's felt too intense for a coffee high from half an espresso. I'm wondering if citalopram is causing it to feel more intense?

I'm sure it will wear off in a few hours, but the panicked part of me is worried it's serotonin syndrome.
