Had a revision hip on 25th April 2018 but since then I can't seem to heat my feet up, I'm 60 yrs old and have never suffered from cold feet in my life?

Hmm.....cold feet usually have something to do with one's circulation. Are you taking some type of blood thinner and are you wearing compression stockings? At this point in my THR I was doing both of those things. Are you moving around enough?  I get cold feet e.g. when I fly long distances and sit for a long time. I used to always get leg cramps after flying and I realized my feet would get very cold on long transatlantic flights.  Now I wear long Smartwool knee length socks on these flights which aren't compression stockings, they're just a tight fit.  This solved the problem for me, no cold feet, no leg cramps. I know that's different from what you are experiencing, but maybe you just need some cozy socks. What does your doctor/nurse say about it? Hope some of this helps you Anne Marie.

Oh yes my feet were frozen for weeks .. thick fluffy socks helped a bit but it was really awful. Stopped about a week after I finished the blood thinners

I had the same problem, I do suffer with Raynaud’s disease when outside in the cold, but I had white toes and fingers all the time I was taking the blood thinning injections. The other thing was peeing all the time especially at night, I couldn’t go more than 2-3 hours without having to go (it was a nightmare) a few days after I stopped the injections both things settled down. Very strange. Hopefully you’ll be back to normal before too long. Good luck with your recovery.

While I was on blood thinner and aspirin therapy (also for that), I was colder than usual. I'm used to my feet being outside blanket at night but not during that time. It's all resolved now. Just took time like many other aspects of the recovery from THR.
