Hi Sue! Yes the foot o my operated side was very cold after my knee surgery. I spoke with my dr and he suggested that How my body was telling me it was in pain. He increased my pain meds and it subsided and went away. I think that i have lived with pain so long I tried to ignore or minimize the pain!! Worth speaking to your dr about and that is just what I did. I'd put layers of socks one being my husbands hunting sock and then wrap a heating pad around it, oh my!! Best wishes, the healing is an ongoing process, keep your chin up!!
