Cold Sensations

I've read several people talk about cold sensations in their extremeties (arms, legs, hands feet) but has anyone felt this coldness in other parts of their bodies as well? I've been having cold sensations in my arm and leg, but also the back of my neck, my scalp, my back a bit and even my bum cheeks! Is this familiar to anyone else?

    Yes to that. For a long time, before the cold feet and occasionally cold hands, I have had a cold buttom. Also the lower back and right between the shoulder blades. Bad circulation, maybe.

      Thanks for the reply. Well it's nice to know I'm not the only one, although I'm sorry you're suffering with these issues. Is it more noticeable for you when you apply pressure? I notice my cold bum when I sit on a hard surface, but then it warms up. Same thing if I rest the back of my head on something.

    Hi Markus, I tend to be cold after night swets. I am sat in my chair now and my shins are cold. I only seem to get cold on the front of my body, but it can be anywhere including my neck.

    Hi, yes funnily enough I recently had an allergic reaction to the coating on some vitamin pills and as well as a rash I got a really cold side of my thigh on one leg and a really cold sensation on the shin of the other leg. No sign of any redness or pallor on either of them, just that really coldness, that eventually subsided.  Weird, but then this illness has some really bizarre symptoms off and on, I've had M.E. for almost 30 years now.

    Hope you're feeling a bit reassured,seems to help me anyway, when I can contact folks on this forum and get a reply, reminds me that...."Hey! We can't all be 'mad' as some of the medical fraternity seem to immediately think and write us all off!"

    Our day WILL come, at some point something will present itself and we'll all be believed, it's just that old chestnut of.....when!

    Yes I have CFS also fibromyalgia I've also been diagnosed with autonomic neuropathy. I am in bed 24/7 but  if my feet get cold for just a second I'm in agony. I'm covered in a duvet 365 yet I can't stand the heating on as it affects my breathing? I wear only a t shirt whatever the weather. Write more later and will answer any questions.

    Hi Markus,

    this is first time I've heard of anyone else having this symptom.

    i often experience the bottom half of my face being cold. It is always happily accompanied by hot hands. Therefore I am often found cradling my chin and cheeks with my hands.
