Cold sore blister - following morning after sex

Posted , 2 users are following.

So I'm a straight male, I had sex last night.  Kissing, oral, everything.

Following morning, I wake up with the feeling that my lip is weird.  I've cold sores in the past and didn't feel that tingle at all the night before. Otherwise I wouldn't have done anything.

Now I'm paranoid that I've infected her. What are the odds that's true??  Please tell me it's not likely.

Iv dealt with this my whole life, i have gotten cold sores since i was a baby. Reality is you can infect someone without even having a breakout. In my experience, i infected my boyfriend and it spread on me. Its under control now with meds. But its tough. Unfortunately even if she did get it, she probably wont have symptoms for quite a while and probably wont know its from you unless you have told her. Unfortunately anyone you date for a long time will probably end up getting infected at some point. If you both have type 1, you wont pass it back and forth
