Cold Sore HSV1 transmission- help I think I’ve been infected recently

Hi. So i hooked up with a girl friend 5 days ago and 2 days later another friend told me she gets cold sores regularly. 30 hours after making out i get a sore throat with sensitive/painful lymph nodes. yesterday some little sores that disappeared in 18 hours. i have cobblestone throat also - pharyngitis with big red lumps at back of throat. no sore on lip just yet. i think ive been infected.

what is the transmission rate of hsv from kissing a person who didnt have a sore at the time. am i almost guranteed infection? i currently do not have HSV1

im so sad about this 😦

    50/50 shot i would say. i get cold sores had them since childhood. really not a big deal. about 60% of the population has it if not more.
