Cold Sores that just WILL NOT go away. I am at my limit

First of all, this post may come off as somewhat aggressive and that is due to that fact that I am just so irritated by the fact that I still have these cold sores and they just will not go away.

Anyway.

I have had these cold sores spread across my mouth for about seven months now, I have been to the local GP three times and they keep telling me that they will pass in about ten days, which clearly they have not, yet I still keep being told this.

The cold sores are covering my lips, are constantly cracking, drying out my mouth and from time to time bleeding in the corners.

A pattern seems to occur as they seem to go around my mouth and then where it seems like one is about to go away, it appears on another point of the mouth and so on and when that new cold sore is about to go away the itchiness appears in a new point and on the next day, more cold sores.

I have had them now for around seven months and I just cannot stand it anymore, the itching, the cracking, the dryness, the swelling of my lips and ultimately the disgust of just having them. It's effected my mental health since I am now embarrassed to be seen by people and I am just constantly irritated and angry. Nothing/ nobody seems to be able to help (That is not their fault) and I do not know what to do anymore. Please can anybody offer me a small amount of relief?

Tl;dr: I have had cold sores for a long time, they won't go away. Please help.

    Do they have you on antivirals? If not might have them put you on them. Are you using any over the counter treatments?

    A friend swears by aloe vera, have you tried that ????

    i use to only get mine once maybe twice per year but starting like a month or two ago they just keep coming back. new location top right bottom right top left bottom left ive been using peroxide for a few days but then after they go away new location again. Ive done the ketchup over night works for a day maybe two then right back. im gonna try releeve and lemon balm im get desperate
